Submit your visa application through VFS Global centers located in major Indian cities: New Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Kolkata, Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Lucknow, Ahmedabad.
Bring original documents and copies, including a completed application form, passport-sized photos, travel and accommodation confirmations, travel insurance, and financial proof.
Biometrics (fingerprints and photograph) will be collected unless done within the last 59 months.
Visa application decisions typically take 15 calendar days but can take up to 45-60 days in special cases.
No visa on arrival for Indian citizens traveling to Sweden; you must apply before travel.
You can apply no earlier than 6 months before your intended travel date.
Multiple-entry visas may be issued depending on the validity of the passport.
Swedish Embassy handles visa decisions; some cases may be referred to the Swedish Migration Agency.

After approval, collect your passport and visa from the VFS center or get it couriered.
