Visa Type

 

  1. Schengen Visa (Short Stay)

    • For tourism, business, or family visits.

    • Maximum stay: up to 90 days within a 180-day period.

  2. National Visa (Type D)

    • For stays longer than 90 days (studies, work, family reunification).

  3. Visitor Permit

    • For visits longer than 90 days for family, religious purposes, research, or business conferences.

  4. Work Permit

    • For employment in Sweden.

  5. Student Residence Permit

    • For studying at a university in Sweden.

Documents We Need

  • Submit your visa application through VFS Global centers located in major Indian cities: New Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Kolkata, Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Lucknow, Ahmedabad.

  • Bring original documents and copies, including a completed application form, passport-sized photos, travel and accommodation confirmations, travel insurance, and financial proof.

  • Biometrics (fingerprints and photograph) will be collected unless done within the last 59 months.

  • Visa application decisions typically take 15 calendar days but can take up to 45-60 days in special cases.
