Visa Type

Indian citizens do not require a pre-approved visa to visit Mauritius for tourism or business visits up to 60 days.
Indians can obtain a visa on arrival at the Mauritius airport for up to 60 days of stay, free of charge.
Visa types include: Tourist Visa, Business Visa, Work Visa, and Visa on Arrival.
Extension of the tourist visa beyond 60 days is possible at the Passport and Immigration Office in Mauritius (up to an additional 90 days).
Business visas allow multiple entries within 120 days, with a maximum stay of 90 days per visit.
Work or occupational permits are required for employment purposes; tourists are not allowed to work on tourist visas.

Documents We Need

Valid Indian passport with a minimum of 6 months validity from the date of travel
Completed and signed visa application form (if required)
Two recent passport-sized photographs
Confirmed return or onward flight tickets
Proof of confirmed accommodation in Mauritius (hotel booking or invitation letter)
Proof of sufficient funds to cover the stay expenses (recent bank statement or cash equivalent)
If applicable, a sponsorship letter from a Mauritian citizen with their address and your relationship details
If traveling onward from Mauritius to another country, a valid visa for that destination must be shown
